Teresa has over 30 years of accounting experience, including experience in both industry and public accounting.  She spent the first 10 years of her career in industry, managing accounting and finance departments of both service and manufacturing businesses.  The past 20 years, Teresa has been in public accounting during which time, she has provided accounting and tax services to individuals, corporations, limited liability companies, partnerships and non-profit organizations.  She also has extensive experience in estate and trust accounting and tax preparation, including estate planning and compliance filings.  In addition, she also provides QuickBooks installation and support services.

Teresa attended the University of Richmond, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration.  She is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Virginia Society of Certified Public Accountants.  Teresa is an active member of Farmville United Methodist Church.  Formerly, she served on the church finance committee, as well as, treasurer of the Southside Virginia Family YMCA Board of Directors.
